The Qasti Vessels Collection, 2025

Fabrica Design Platform was commissioned by Babylon the Agency to create a bespoke ceramic collection that captures the essence and identity of Qasti, the Lebanese bistrot by Chef Alan Geaam, designed by Architect Galal Mahmoud for Le Grey Hotel in Beirut.

The proposed collection features 22 custom pieces -a curated mix of small, medium, and large vessels. Each piece is wheel-thrown and entirely handmade, crafted with the highest technical skill and artistic intention. To elevate the collection beyond pure functionality, we applied a range of glazing and surface-decoration techniques, ensuring that each form operates both as a utilitarian ceramic object and as a scenographic element within the restaurant’s spatial and aesthetic narrative.
