Join us for an immersive, hands-on exploration of sculptural ceramics with Laura Ramirez. This intensive workshop delves into form, volume, and expression through clay, guiding participants in transforming functional techniques into bold sculptural statements. Through a contemporary, process-driven approach, Laura shares her artistic practice—where material sensitivity, structure, and storytelling come together to create expressive ceramic works.

Participants will begin with live demonstrations by Laura, followed by guided individual exploration and experimentation. Students will learn how to construct sculptural forms using hand-building techniques, develop surface treatments, and refine composition and balance. Emphasis will be placed on pushing boundaries—moving beyond utility into conceptual and expressive territory.

By the end of the program, participants will have strengthened their sculptural vocabulary, expanded their technical skills, and developed greater confidence in creating ambitious, self-directed ceramic pieces.
