We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting Master Hyangjong Oh and his assistant all the way from Korea for a 5-day Onggi workshop
This immersive experience will introduce participants to the traditional Onggi hand-building technique, used to create monumental ceramic vessels rooted in Korean heritage. Under the guidance of the master himself, participants will explore the physical, cultural, and technical depth of Onggi-making—where rhythm, repetition, and respect for material come together to shape powerful, large-scale forms.
Through live demonstrations and guided hands-on practice, students will learn how to construct substantial vessels using time-honored methods passed down through generations. By the end of the workshop, participants will have gained a deeper understanding of traditional Korean ceramic practices and the discipline required to create monumental Onggi forms.
